What is Well-Woman Care like with SuperMamma Birth Services?
While we offer a non-judgmental, evidenced-based family planning and gynecologic service, we educate considering the whole person proving information on a wide range of women’s healthcare issues. We counsel on preconception, nutrition, exercise, alternative and complimentary therapies, social services, smoking cessation, contraception and depression screening.
What can I expect at my GYN/Well-Woman visit?
Your visit plus any examinations will take place in our office and is usually 60 minutes long. Together, we make a plan for the type of testing and care you’d like to receive that day. Our goal is to make sure you feel comfortable and partner with you in your own health and wellness journey.
Services offered include:
- Routine GYN exam/well-woman examination - Pap Smear & HPV testing - IUD & Nexplanon Insertion
- Contraception Counseling: Herbal, Non-hormonal, and Hormonal methods
- STI (sexually transmitted infection) testing and treatment - Blood work and laboratory services - Pre-conception Counseling
- Treatment of GYN problems - vaginal infections, irregular bleeding, pain, etc.
- Outpatient specialty referrals - Prescriptions when applicable - Miscarriage management and follow-up
- Referral for colposcopy, screening mammogram and colonoscopy
Okay, this all sounds great! What’s the cost??
Unfortunately due to circumstances outside of our control we do not bill insurance directly. Gynecological services are billed to you. Services range from $50-275 depending on the type of service needed. The charge is $125 for a routine well women appointment for new clients and $100 for repeat clients. If you have insurance you will be given a claim form that you can submit to your insurance company for reimbursement. You can also use an FSA or HSA card for payment.
Do I also have to pay for any lab work that is done?
The cost of our professional service does not include any of the laboratory testing, but that can be billed to your insurance company. The laboratory that we work with also offers 70% off for uninsured clients at the time you pay for the laboratory bill. Please request this discount at that time. If insured we’ll include your insurance information on the requisition form to the lab so that they can initiate payment for the laboratory testing done.

Book your appointment!!!! After you receive your confirmation email, you will receive a separate email within 1-2 days with instructions on how to access our electronic health record system Mobile Midwife EHR. Before your appointment you will need to complete our brief client health questionnaire. There will also be a diet diary attached to the email for you to complete prior to your appointment.
